Nearly 2,000 Employees. One Mission. A Major Milestone for ProfitGuard Plus.

I have some exciting news to share today, and I'm going to tell you right now, this is one of those moments where you look at what you've been building, you look at the people you've been able to serve, and you realize something pretty incredible is happening.

As of October 2026, ProfitGuard Plus has reached 1,992 enrolled employees. Nearly two thousand working Americans participating in a benefit strategy designed to help employers manage their payroll expenses while bringing meaningful additional benefits to their teams.

And for me, this is a big deal. Not simply because of the number, but because of what that number represents.

Every single one of those employees works for a business that made a decision to look at employee benefits differently. They recognize that doing things the same way they've always been done isn't necessarily the best way, and they were willing to explore a smarter approach.

Now, I want to explain why I'm so excited about this milestone, because there's a much bigger story here.

The traditional benefits conversation is changing. If you're a business owner listening to this, I want you to think about something.

How many times have you sat through a benefits renewal and heard the same conversation?

Costs are going up. The employer is going to have to contribute more. Employees might be paying more out of their paychecks. And ultimately, somebody has to absorb the increase.

That's the conversation businesses have been having for years. And quite frankly, I believe employers deserve better options. That's exactly why we're so passionate about ProfitGuard Plus.

At Abbott Family Insurance, our goal isn't simply to sell another insurance product. Our goal is to help employers understand how their compensation and benefit structure works, identify potential inefficiencies, and create a strategy that produces meaningful value for the business and the people who work there. That's what ProfitGuard Plus was designed to do, and we're seeing more employers become interested in that conversation.

So what makes ProfitGuard Plus different?

First, it's important to understand that ProfitGuard Plus is not just another insurance policy. It's a comprehensive employer benefits strategy. It brings together benefit design, proper documentation, payroll integration, employee education, and ongoing support.

One component of the strategy involves a self-insured medical reimbursement plan, often referred to as a SIMRP. But the real value isn't simply in one component. It's in how the complete system is structured, implemented, and managed.

We evaluate an employer's existing payroll information to determine whether the strategy may create payroll tax efficiencies. We review the numbers, we walk through a mock payroll, and we make sure the employer understands the impact before implementation.

At the same time, employees have access to additional benefit offerings designed to support their health and overall well-being.

And here's what I really appreciate about this approach. The employer and the employee both have an opportunity to benefit. That's a much different conversation than simply asking who is going to pay more for benefits next year.

Now, I also want to be clear about something. Every employer is different. Every payroll is different, and not every organization will see the same financial outcome.

That's why we don't start by promising a dollar amount. We start with a customized savings analysis using the employer's actual payroll data, because a sound business decision should be based on facts, not just a good sales presentation.

But let's get back to this milestone, 1,992 enrolled employees.

When I think about that number, I think about the employers who trusted us enough to take a closer look at their benefits strategy. I think about the conversations we've had with business owners and leadership teams who were frustrated with rising costs. I think about the employees who now have access to benefits through this program, and I think about the opportunity that's still ahead of us.

Because here is something I've learned over the years. A lot of businesses don't necessarily have a spending problem. Sometimes they have a structural problem. They're spending money without fully understanding whether their current compensation and benefit strategy is working as efficiently as it could.

And when you introduce a different approach, one that is properly documented, carefully reviewed, and thoughtfully implemented, you can create an entirely new conversation. That's the conversation we're having through ProfitGuard Plus, and reaching nearly two thousand enrolled employees tells me that employers are willing to explore it.

Now, I want to take a moment to recognize something else. This kind of growth doesn't happen because of one person.

It takes employers who are willing to evaluate new ideas. It takes implementation teams, benefit specialists, payroll professionals, and people who genuinely care about serving others, and I'm grateful for everyone who has played a role in helping us reach this point.

At Abbott Family Insurance, we've always believed in a simple mission, helping other people every day. That's our hope.

And while I love seeing the business grow, what excites me most is the opportunity to serve more businesses and more families.

I believe good business and taking care of people should go hand in hand, and I believe that when you approach your work with integrity, stewardship, and a genuine desire to create value, the opportunity to make a difference becomes much bigger than any single transaction.

So where do we go from here?

We're not slowing down. We're continuing to educate employers about how payroll efficiency and meaningful employee benefits can work together. We're continuing to develop relationships with business owners who want to be more strategic with their spending. And we're continuing to build ProfitGuard Plus with an emphasis on documentation, implementation, and long-term service.

But here's the most important part. If you're an employer listening to this, I don't want you to take my word for it. I want you to look at your own numbers.

Let's see whether your business could benefit from a different approach. You may discover an opportunity that hasn't been presented to you before. And if the numbers don't make sense for your business, we'll tell you that too, because the goal isn't to force a program into every company. The goal is to build the right solution for the right employer.

So today, I want to say thank you to the employers who have placed their trust in us, to the teams who have helped make this possible, and to everyone who has supported Abbott Family Insurance and ProfitGuard Plus along the way.

Nearly two thousand enrolled employees. It's an exciting milestone, and I believe we're just getting started.
